Nina Nastasia: Riderless Horse

Book created for musician’s concert tour (2023). Format: Perfect-bound softcover book, 7 x 10 inches, 44 pages.

The singer-songwriter Nina Nastasia asked me to design a book for her Winter 2023 concert tour that would serve as a companion volume to her acclaimed 2022 album Riderless Horse (Temporary Residence Records). This volume included lyrics to the record’s songs, photographs of the LP’s recording process, a series of drawings by Nastasia, as well as other photos of Nastasia’s late partner, Kennan Gudjonnson, and the myriad items in the personal archive he left behind.
