“Here We Are” was the title track from my first album. Its topic was the multiverse—a concept in theoretical physics that posits the simultaneous existence of an infinite number of universes. Once again, I sourced footage from a number of Prelinger Archives industrial films, including More Power to You (c. 1930s), Destination Earth (1956), and American Engineer (Pt. 1) (1960s), but the backbone of the video came from my iPhone—specifically, screen captures of the GPS technology that powers navigation apps.
