“Good Start,” the lead track from my first album, Here We Are (2019), was inspired by a saying passed down to my father from his grandfather: “A good start means you’re half done.” in 2022, I reached out to a range of musicians I respected to see if they might be willing to offer their own takes on the song. I ended up with submissions from Julian Lynch, Sonic Boom, Kramer, and Carl Stone and originally released the four songs only on this limited-edition cassette; they were released digitially in 2023.
