“Anyway,” a standalone single I wrote and recorded over the space of a week or so in August 2025, includes contributions from two longtime collaborators: Kramer, who co-produced my first two albums, mixed the track (and played bass guitar) and Jeff Lipstein, who mixed my EP Midterms and the covers album Closer Than They Appear, handled the drums. They both did beautiful work and, as always, elevated the song in the process.
