Esopus 14

PREVIOUS  |  NEXT

Published by The Esopus Foundation Ltd., Spring 2010. Format: Perfect-bound magazine, 9 by 11.5 inches, 200 pages.

Artists’ projects formed the backbone of every issue of Esopus, and for 14th edition, we devoted an entire issue to eye-catching projects by 12 artists, including established figures like John Baldessari, Judy Pfaff, Roxy Paine, and Kerry James Marshall and emerging talents such as Barbara Probst, John O’Connor, Juri Morioka, Marcia Kure, Suzanne Bocanegra, Erica Allen, Jared Flood, and Fernando Santangelo. The publication’s largest issue at the time, Esopus 14: Projects featured 10 different paper stocks, 6 foldouts, a 25" x 34" poster, and 30 removable inserts.

As always, the magazine closed with a themed CD, this time featuring songs inspired by (and named after) visual artists by Doveman, Sharon Van Etten, PS I Love You, Savoir Adore, Au Revoir Simone’s Erika Spring Forster, I Was a King, Tim Fite, and six other musical acts.
