Esopus celebrated the release of its 22nd—and first to be published as an annual—issue at the Manhattan space of the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. The event drew more than 200 attendees, including numerous contributors to the issue such as Fred Tomaselli, Melissa Meyer, William Villalongo, Martin Wilner, Danielle Spencer, Thomas Juncher Jensen, MK Czerwiec, and Alex Marvar, as well as a number of past contributors, board members, subscribers, and colleagues.

I probably went a little too far in adhering to the issue’s theme with the lab coats, stethoscopes, and specimen cups for the “medicinal elixir" formulated by Tito's Vodka for the event.
